NORWICH – Daniel J. Eddins, 43, of Norwich, passed away Thursday, Feb. 18, 2010 in the Chenango Memorial Hospital.
Dan was born in New Brunswick, N.J. in February of 1967, the son of Robert and Jacqueline Huffman Eddins. A veteran of the Gulf War, Dan served his country in the United States Army from 1989 until his honorable discharge in 1992. While living in New Jersey he had worked for Channel #5. He moved to the Norwich area five years ago.
Dan is survived by his mother Jacqueline of Toms River, N.J.; his children Gene and Kayla Eddins; his sisters Joy Weisbecker of Toms River, N.J., Mary Skullthorpe of Tampa, Fla., Jennie Carver of Manassas, Va. and Helen Fisk of Arizona. Also surviving are his brothers, John Eddins of Martinsville, N.J., David Eddins of New Jersey and William Eddins of Norwich. Several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.
Services for Dan will be private and at the convenience of the family.
