NORWICH – Juanita Sue Acker, 49, of Norwich and former resident of the Mt. Upton and Sidney area, passed away Sunday, March 21, 2010 in the Chenango Memorial Hospital.
Bom in Bridgeton, N.J. in May of 1960, Sue was the daughter of John and Barbara Riker Wilber. She attended the schools in Bainbridge and Afton and had made her home in the Afton, Sidney and Mt. Upton areas.
Sue was an easy going person with a bit of a stubborn streak. She loved her animals and flowers and was especially fond of brown eyed susans because of her brown eyes and name of Sue.
Surviving are her children: Deric Michaletz of Norwich and Stevie Bell of Sidney; her mother Barbara Mahon of Sidney and her father John Wilber of Greene; grandchildren Draven and Damon Michaletz and Cameron and Kya Bell. Also surviving is her sister and three brothers along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services for Sue will be private and at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements are by the R.J. Fahy Funeral Home.
