SHERBURNE – William L. “Tim” Cook, 83, formerly of Sherburne, passed away Sunday, May 2, 2010 at the Gilmour Healthcare Facility, Norwich.
He was born Sept. 16, 1926 in Sherburne, a son of Lloyd and Effie Marks Cook and received his education in local schools. Tim worked on the family farm Lloyd E. Cook & Son in Sherburne Four Corners. He was a member of the United Church of Christ in Sherburne.
Surviving are a step-sister, Julia Dargan of Pompano Beach, Fla.; a step-brother-in-law, Donald Rabig of Florence, Mass.; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents and his step-mother, Anna Turner Cook.
Funeral services will be held at the Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 10 S. Main St., Sherburne at 1 p.m. on Wednesday.
Internment will follow in West Hill Cemetery, Sherburne.
Friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Wednesday from Noon until 1 pm prior to the service.
