Janette A. Nigolian


Janette Adsit Nigolian died on September 25, 2024.
She was born on March 25,1928 to Marjorie Lucas and Leland Adsit.
On December 28, 1950, she married George Nigolian, who predeceased her in 1991.
“Jan” will best be remembered for her days at Sherburne-Earlville and her long standing weekly and monthly “theme” coffees for neighbors and friends.
She served on boards for Catholic Charities, Town Planning, Pratt Newton and Sherburne Rotary.
She was a member of the Epiphany Episcopal Church.
Surviving are her four children: Rodger Nigolian (Joanne), Kathy Nigolian McDaniel (Chris) of Sherburne; Karen Cox (James) of Garrison, NY, and Mark Nigolian (Sandy) of Burlington, VT. Also surviving are eight beloved grandchildren: Branden McDaniel (Alicia), Bridgette McDaniel, Jessica Cox, Russell Cox, Jill Cox, Anna Nigolian, Sophie Nigolian and Grace Nigolian; also great-grandchildren Kinley McDaniel and Gabriel McDaniel; loving nieces and nephews: Louise Breckan (Karl); Robert Adsit; David Adsit; Fred Adsit (predeceased); Chip Tremper (Kathy) and Lisa Hanover (Stephen).
Services will be held at the Episcopal Church of the Epiphany, 5 Classic St., Sherburne, NY 13460, on Saturday, October 12, 2024 at 1:00 p.m.
Calling hours will be held at the church from noon to 1:00 p.m., prior to the service.
Interment will be private.
