EARLVILLE – Gordon S. Ellis, 60, of South Hamilton Rd., passed away Friday, June 4, 2010 at Community Memorial Hospital in Hamilton.
He was born May 19, 1950 in Oneida, a son of Cecil C. and Edna M. Lollman Ellis, and received his education in local schools. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Gordon was a life long area resident and had worked on his family‚s dairy farm for many years.
Surviving is his mother, Edna Ellis; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Shirley and Ron Jantzen of Orlando, FL; Helen and Howard Eccleston of Henderson, NV; Mary and Rich Ahearn of Lutz, FL; a brother, Richard C. Ellis of Earlville; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Cecil in 2005.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday from the Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 25 Broad St., Hamilton, followed by interment in Graham Cemetery, Hubbardsville.
Friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Monday from noon to 2 p.m., prior to the service.
