Terry Meade, 64, of West Winfield, passed away on Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at Mary Imogene Bassett Hospital.
He was born on November 17, 1959 in Norwich, a son of Thomas and L. Virginia (Cady) Meade, Sr. and graduated from Norwich High School. On August 9, 2003, Terry was united in marriage to Denys T. Casella in Bridgewater and shared a blessed union of 21 years. Terry began his working career on the family farm in Norwich and then as a warehouseman with Great American, Norwich, and retired from Mohawk Hospital Equipment, Utica, in 2014.
He loved to hunt on the family farmland and was an avid bowler, earning his 300 Ring in Norwich. Terry also took great pride in caring for his lawn, garden and landscaping around their home.
Surviving are his wife, Denys; daughters, Jennifer Case, Kelly Casella and Kimberly Aitken; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; mother, L. Virginia Meade; sister, Barbara (Keith) Flood; brothers, Thomas (Judy) Meade, Jr., Donald (Cheryl) Meade and Michael Meade and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son, Jeffrey Aitken and father, Thomas Meade, Sr.
Terry’s family wishes to extend their gratitude to the ICU doctors and nurses for all their wonderful care and compassion.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life on Saturday, October 19, 2024, starting at 12 p.m. at the South New Berlin Fire Hall, 3327 NY-8, South New Berlin, NY 13483. Arrangements are with Dimbleby Funeral Homes, Inc., 365 West Main St., West Winfield.
