NORWICH – LaVonne M. Morse, 89, of Norwich, passed away on June 24, 2010 at the Crouse Community Center in Morrisville.
She was born on Feb. 27, 1921 in Plymouth, to Benjamin and Violet (Tallet) Franklin. After 60 years of marriage, LaVonne was predeceased by her husband, Ken, in 2000.
She is survived by eight children: Judy (Wayne) Smith and Jill (Raymond) Smith of South Otselic, Ken (Vicki) Morse and Michael (Carol) Morse of Hamilton, Pamela Wexler of Havre De Grace, Md., Melissa Morse of Falls Church, Va., Leigh (Robert) Harris of Alexandria, Va. and Michele (John) Shaw of Arlington, Va. Also surviving are 23 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Her three sisters, Alberta, Lois and Sandra and two brothers, Benjamin and James and their spouses also mourn her death.
Private services will be held at the discretion of the family.
