GREENE – Janet Mae Harris, 72, passed away on Friday, June 25, 2010.
She was predeceased by her husband Ray Harris, parents Kenneth and Flossie Hamilton and by brother LeRoy “Skip” Hamilton.
She is survived by her two sons Roger and Diane Harris of Overland Park Kansas, Scott Harris and Debbie Gates of Cortland; sister, Nancy Hamilton of Greene; six grandchildren Kimberly, Nathan, Chelsea, Ethan, Christianna and Michael; step children Raymond and Rita Harris, Nancy Sullivan, Sharon and Cliff Davis, Eric and Mary Harris; seven stepgrand children; brother Eugene Hamilton of Oxford; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Special friends at Autumn Years, Pat and Mickey Grow and Charity Washington.
Janet retired from Raymond Corporation in Greene after more than thirty years of service.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday at Root Funeral Home, Greene. Rev. William Reid will officiate. Burial will be in Genegantslet Cemetery Greene. Friends may call Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Root Funeral Home, 23 North Chenango St., Greene, NY 13778.
