SMYRNA – Carl R. ManWarren, 65, of Lawrence-Hunsicker Rd., passed away Thursday, June 24, 2010 at his home.
He was born Jan. 11, 1945 in Norwich, a son of Stewart and June Blackman ManWarren and received his education in Norwich schools. Carl proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps in Vietnam. On April 12, 1969, Carl married Arlene Brown in Hamilton. Carl worked in electrical construction for Union Local #1249 in Syracuse. His family was his greatest joy and his granddaughter was the light of his life. He was a member of the Norwich American Legion.
Surviving is his wife, Arlene; his children, Timothy ManWarren of Smyrna; Devan and Rebecca ManWarren of Mechanicville; his beloved granddaughter, Addison Rose; his mother, June ManWarren of Norwich; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Donna and Joseph Loscavio of Norwich; Diane and Jim Grewe of Florida; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Fred ManWarren of McDonough; Gary and Connie ManWarren of Zephyrhills, Fla.; Jerry and Kim ManWarren of Dade City, Fla.; brother-in-law and his wife, Harry “Bud” and Sylvia Brown of Hamilton; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his father, Stewart ManWarren, and a sister, Laura.
In keeping with his wishes, there will be no services and interment will be at the convenience of the family.
Carl’s family will receive friends at the Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 10 S. Main St., Sherburne on Wednesday, June 30, 2010 from 6-8 p.m.
