NORWICH – Nickolas D’Agostino, age 101, died June 29, 2010 at Gilmour Nursing Home in Norwich.
A builder and finish carpenter, Nick was well known for his handcrafted dollhouse furniture. An ardent outdoorsman all his life, he loved swimming, hunting and fishing. He was a Boy Scout leader and a founding member of the Chenango Valley Trout Unlimited chapter, of which he was an active member until his death. He was predeceased by his wife of 60 years, Nina Wright D’Agostino.
Nick is survived by his daughter, Nickole (Edwin) Mook of Saratoga Springs, his son Neal (Linda) D’Agostino of Lake Forest, California and four grandchildren: Amanda Palmer, Jeremy Fish, Nielle (John) Reinhart and Taryn D’Agostino. His pride and joy was his great grandson, Keegan Andrew Reinhart.
In accordance with Nick’s instructions, there will be no calling hours or services.
