EARLVILLE – Victoria Ann Mulligan, 55, of Campbell Rd., Town of Lebanon, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 11, 2010 at her home.
She was born June 14, 1955 in Rochester, a daughter of Ronald S. and Lois Stedman Cooke. She was a graduate of Hamilton Central School and SUNY Morrisville, and worked as a secretary at the Sherburne-Earlville Central School District for 21 years. On July 19, 1975, Victoria married Joseph G. Mulligan in Lebanon.
Vicki was a member of the Lebanon Federated Church. Her family’s life revolved around their love of horses. She was a member of the NYS Draft Horse Club, where she served as secretary for over 15 years.
Surviving are her beloved husband, Joe; two daughters, Karen Mulligan, of Lebanon; Brenda Mulligan and her fiancé Scott Bowling of Nashville; her sisters and brothers-in-law, Cindy Bowers of Independence, MO; Ginger and LeRoy Purvis of Kansas City, KS; Robin Watson of Blue Springs, MO; Cheryl and Donald Smith of Tonganoxie, KS; a brother, James Cooke of NC; her step-father, Kenneth Forsberg of Leavenworth, KS; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Also surviving are many in-laws including her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jack and Nita Mulligan of Lebanon; two brothers-in-law, James Mulligan and Jeri Mulligan, both of Lebanon, and a sister-in-law, Jane Mulligan of Hamilton. Her mother, Lois Forsberg, predeceased her in 1991.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 3 Preston St., Earlville, followed by burial in the Brookfield Rural Cemetery, Brookfield.
Friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Friday from 5-8 p.m.
