HOUSTON, TEXAS – Our beloved mother, Norma Lapuszynski, went to be with our Lord on Nov. 30, 2010.
She was born in Norwich on July 18, 1929, the daughter of Ede Gladys Schraft. In 1947, she graduated high school in Norwich and married Charles Lapuszynski. Norma & Charles lived in Otselic where they raised their five children. After they were raised, they moved to Houston, Texas. Norma was predeceased by her parents, her husband, and her beloved son, Fritz.
Norma is survived by her three daughters, Wendi Stone, Sharlene Crossway and Carol Spann, along with one son, Rick Lapuszynski. She also is survived by nine grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren who gave her much joy. Norma is also survived by one brother, Ernest Schraft, and two sisters, Betty Davis and Carol Spalluto, along with many cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was best known for her zest for life and wonderful sense of humor. She will be missed by all who knew her.
There will be a memorial service at a later date to honor her life.
