NORWICH – Timothy N. Wenzel, 22, a life long resident of Norwich, passed away Saturday, Jan. 1, 2011, at his home following a long battle with neurofibrosis.
Tim was born in Norwich the son of Donna Bontorno Markham and Harry Wenzel in September of 1988. He grew up in Norwich and was a graduate of the Norwich High School. A very intelligent individual, he was always eager to learn more and spent countless hours on his computer. A gifted writer, Tim was a member of the National Poet Society and had been published three times.
Tim is survived by his mother and step-father Donna Markham and her husband James, his father Harry Wenzel all of Norwich, his sisters; Katlin Wenzel and Tessa Markham both of Norwich, Lori Wenzel of Paramus, N.J. and Lisa Murch of Weatherford, Texas and his brother Jody Wenzel and his wife Heather of Potsdam. Nieces and nephews also survive.
Friends may call at the R.J. Fahy Funeral Home on Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. There will be no formal funeral service. Interment will be in the Mt. Hope Cemetery.
