SOUTH OTSELIC – Donald H. “Pug,” Robinson, 87, of South Otselic, passed away Sunday at the Crown Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Cortland.
He was born in South Otselic and was a dairy farmer, operating Sabrown Farm.
Donald was a 1941 graduate of South Otselic Central School, a member of its Alumni Association and past member and President of its school board. He was a Seventh Degree member of the Otselic Valley Grange for 70 years, a member of Holsteins Associations and the Willet Sr. Center.
Surviving are daughters, Marjorie (Stanley) Davis of Otselic, Jeanne Angell of South Otselic, Judy (David) Stone of DeRuyter, and Mary (Thomas) Darling of Crafton, Md.; sister, Nora Rogers of Fredericksburg, Va.; a cousin, Howard Foster, who was like a brother to him; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Donald was predeceased by his wife, Dorothy, in 2000.
Services will be Friday at noon at Smith Funeral Home, DeRuyter. Burial will be in Valley View Cemetery, South Otselic. Calling hours will be Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home.
