NEW BERLIN – Marcella M. Moore, 82, of Mt. Dora, Fla., went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, Nov. 11, 2010 after a long battle with diabetes and heart disease.
Marcella was born Sept. 8, 1928 in Hortonville, the daughter of Louis J. and Helen (Cole) Werlau. She spent her childhood in New Berlin, was a graduate of New Berlin Central School and moved to Florida in 1963. She was predeceased by her husband, Herman U. Moore and granddaughter, Christine Moore. She is survived by her sons, Daniel (Traci) of Lake Panasoffkee, Fla., Michael (Jody Lester) of Mt. Dora, Fla.; daughters , Cathy Carpenter (Mike) of Unadilla, Barbara Maginness (Mike) Orlando, Fla., Rebecca Moore (Curtis) of Marshall, N.C., Peggy Bentley of Orlando, Fla.; brothers, George Werlau of Belvidere, N.J., Robert of W.Va., Dennis Werlau (Linda) of Kennewick, Wash., David Cummings (Jeanette) of Simpsonville, S.C. and sister Darlene Werlau Sheldon (Randy) of Norwich; 13 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
Marcella will be remembered for her great love of genealogy, recording and writing books about the family history. She will be greatly missed by her loved ones.
