NORWICH – Rosemary Bucksath, 80, of Norwich, passed away early Wednesday morning, Feb. 2, 2011, at the Chenango Memorial Hospital.
Born in Cresskill, N.J., in February of 1930, Rosemary was the daughter of Angelo and Rose Reynolds Bruglia. On March 18, 1961, in the First Baptist Church of Norwich, she married Waldemar “Wally” Bucksath, who passed away March 14, 2005. Rosemary came to the Norwich area in 1959 and, over the years, had worked for the Family Bargain Center and in the cafeteria at Gibson School. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Norwich, where she enjoyed many of its social activities, and also enjoyed her times at 60+.
Rosemary is survived by her children: JoAnn Morack and husband Tom of Moravia, and Andy Rittacco and Mary Rittacco; her sister, Betty Echentile and husband George of Norwich; her brother, Richard Bruglia of Seaside, Calif.; her grandson, Christopher Morack and his wife Sunshyne; and her great grandchildren: Cassion, Jordan, Cayden, and Adrian Morack. Also surviving is her niece, Sandy Smith and her husband Bob of Norwich, who, along with her sister Betty, offered much support along with many other nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Rosemary will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday from the R.J. Fahy Funeral Home. The Rev. David Spiegel, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Norwich, will officiate. Interment will be at a later date in the Mt. Hope Cemetery.
