BAINBRIDGE – Lillian McCann, 65, of Bainbridge, passed away on Friday, Feb. 18, 2011, in the Chenango Memorial Hospital.
Born in Queens in June of 1945, Lillian was the daughter of Eric and Catherine Timmens Martzink. She attended and graduated from Flushing High School, and was employed in the New York City area for 24 years as an administrator for the Social Security Administration. On Sept. 19, 1964, she married James McCann. Lillian and Jim continued to live downstate, but maintained a summer/vacation home in Bainbridge which they enjoyed for over 20 years before moving permanently to Bainbridge about a year ago.
Lillian is survived by her husband, James McCann of Bainbridge; by her daughters and their spouses: Arlene and Steve Amile of Arizona, and Candy and Scott Amile of Oregon; by her grandchildren, Cory, Brandon, and Hunter; and her sister, Eleanor, of Florida.
Honoring Lillian’s wishes, there will be no formal hours or services.
