SHERBURNE – Betty M. Lindholm, 75, of Sherburne, passed away Sunday, Feb. 27, 2011 at the Chase Memorial Nursing Home, New Berlin.
She was born July 27, 1935 in Guilford, a daughter of Francis and Muriel Camp Weidman and was a 1953 graduate of Edmeston High School. Betty had worked at the Sherburne IGA, and the Big M in Sherburne. Her family was her greatest joy and she treasured the times spent with her children and grandchildren.
Surviving are her children, Mark and Betsy Lindholm of Earlville; Marcia and Lawrence Post of Sherburne; Karen Losee of Sherburne; Michael Lindholm of Smyrna; Lisa and Glenn Jones of Sherburne; sisters and brothers-in-law, Barbara Izard of Norwich; Bernice and John Christian of Leonardsville; Bonnie and Larry Sullivan of New Berlin; brother, John Weidman of Morris; twelve grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, James Weidman in 2000, and a sister, Beverly in 1994.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday from the Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 10 S. Main St., Sherburne.
Spring interment will be in West Hill Cemetery, Sherburne.
Friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Thursday from 2-4 p.m.
