NORWICH – Eileen Polster Boyce, 80, has been welcomed into the loving arms of her husband of 57 years, Thomas Arden Boyce Sr., who predeceased her on March 9, 2006. She was also predeceased by her son, Leslie Thomas Boyce on Dec. 10, 1949 and by her brother, Dennis Polster.
Mrs. Boyce graduated from Central Technical Nursing School and retired from Van Duyn Home and Hospital. She was a communicant of St. Bartholomew’s Church, Norwich and of St. Stephen’s Church, Phoenix.
Surviving are five children, Adela M. (Thomas) Lenway, Leslie A. Boyce, Charlene A. (Dan Walker) Boyce-Baker, Thomas A. (Tracey) Boyce, Jr. and Michelle J. (Mitchell) O’Neil; two brothers, Bartlett and Earl Polster; fifteen grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
Services will be Friday at 8:45 a.m. at Fergerson Funeral Home and at 9:30 a.m. at St. Stephen’s Church, Phoenix. Burial will be private. Friends may call Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home, 215 South Main Street, North Syracuse.
