PLYMOUTH – William D. Schaap, 47, of Plymouth, passed away Friday, March 18, 2011 at his home.
He was born in Syracuse and was a carpenter in the construction industry.
Surviving are sons William, Shawn and Shannon, all of Cortland; his mother, Marion Schaap of Norwich; sisters Anita Hopkins of Plymouth and Laura Brown of South Otselic; brothers Armand and Steven of Plymouth; and one granddaughter.
Services will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Smith Funeral Home, DeRuyter. Burial will be in the Maple Grove Cemetery of Otselic.
Calling hours will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
