NORWICH – Lynn E. (Zeke) Bowers, 60, of Norwich and formerly of Morris, passed away Saturday, April 16, 2011 at Chenango Memorial Hospital in Norwich.
He was born in Norwich, the son of Glen and Aleen (Hoag) Bowers. He served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam era. He enjoyed his music and riding his Harley. He was a well known area carpenter and was currently living in Norwich. He played in several bands over the years including “Blind Owl,” “Fudd,” “On the Edge,” “Rock Bottom” and the “Unknowns” to name a few.
He is survived by his siblings,  Glenda, Steve, and John, His children, Aaron, Michael, Lana, Jenny and Stanley Sr. He is also survived by many grandchildren and several nephews. He was predeceased by his mother and father, Aleen and Glen Bowers, a brother, Donald and a daughter, Trica.
He will be missed by all that knew him.
There will be no calling hours. A memorial service will be held on Saturday 1 p.m. at The American Legion Post in Norwich with food to follow.
In lieu of flowers friends are asked to make donations to Steve Bowers, 158 Pat Farley Rd., Norwich, NY 13815 to help defray  expenses.
