NORWICH – Irene D. Gaines, 81, former Norwich resident and most recently of Canajoharie, passed away early Monday morning, April 18, 2011 in the Bassett Hospital of Cooperstown. Graveside services for Irene will be held on Friday, May 6, at 11 a.m. from St. Paul’s Cemetery. The Rev. Ralph Bove, Pastor of St. Paul’s and St. Bartholomew’s Catholic Church’s will officiate.
