NORWICH – Ione E. Jennings, 86, passed away peacefully on April 20, 2011 at the Chenango Memorial Hospital RCHF.
Ione was born Aug. 12, 1924 in Harford Mills the daughter of William and Clara (Saxton) Smith. She was predeceased by her husbands Howard Kewis and Carl Jennings.
Ione is survived by her son Daniel Lewis of Norwich, a step-daughter Sue Clark from the Syracuse area, her granddaughter Ann Marie Kale of Texas and great grandchildren Jordan and Nicole Herring.
A time to call and memorial service for Ione will be held from 2 to 2:30 p.m. on Friday on the 2nd floor sunporch RCHF of Chenango Memorial Hospital. President Karlton Hadlock of the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints will officiate.
Interment will be in the Harford Cemetery.
