ENDICOTT – Carl Richard Brennan, 69, of Endicott, passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at the Lourdes Hospital in Binghamton.
Carl was born in Corning in May of 1942 and was the son of Carl and Lois Shephard Brennan. Over the years he has made his home in Corning, Cortland, Norwich and the Binghamton area.
A man with a great personality, Carl loved people, enjoyed a good laugh, was a lover of the outdoors and nature. He especially loved to watch the birds and tropical fish. Even though he couldn’t cook, he knew what he liked and could tell you how to make it which he would quite often do.
Carl is survvied by his mother Lois Brennan Backus of Frostproof, FL, his sisters Helen (David) Whitney of South Plymouth and Ellen (Charles) Cannon of Easton, PA and his brother Michael Brennan and his wife Patt Kelley of Vernon, CT. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Carl was predeceased by his father Carl Brennan.
Graveside services for Carl will be held at the convenience of the family from the Woodlawn Cemetery in Elmira.
