CINCINNATUS – Doris Richer Livermore, 84, of Cincinnatus, passed away on Wednesday, June 15, 2011, at the Cortland Regional Medical Center, Cortland.
Born in Otselic on Oct. 15, 1926, Mrs. Livermore was a daughter of the late Harley and Myrtle Timmerman Richer. A lifelong resident of this area, she was a graduate of Otselic Valley Central School. In her earlier years, she was employed at Gladding Corporation in South Otselic, Crescent Corset in both Cincinnatus and Cortland, and more recently at Wilson Sporting Goods in Cortland.
She is survived by her sons, John Livermore and James (Janice) Livermore, both of Cincinnatus; her grandchildren, Lance (Wendy) Livermore of Trumansburg and Billi-Jo (Bryan) Enders of Cincinnatus. She also leaves behind four great-grandchildren; a brother, Robert (Ginny) Richer of Norwich, a sister-in-law, Barbara Richer of South Carolina; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was predeceased by her husband, Homer Livermore, on Dec. 12, 1987.
In keeping with her wishes, there will be no calling hours or funeral service. Burial will be in Cincinnatus Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
