NORWICH – Catherine N. Ring, age 85, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, June, 22, 2011 at her home in Kodak, TN. Catherine was the mother of CV Electric owner David Ring.
Catherine managed and owned Kay’s Gazebo restaurant in Palm Bay, FL. She is preceded in death by: her father, Leon (Jeanne) Kinney; her mother, Minnie Elizabeth Decker; and her brother, Bob Kinney.
Survivors include: her husband of 66 years Francis Ring of Kodak, TN; son, John (Ann) Cortright of Coppell, TX; son, David Ring of Norwich; son, Bill Ring of Knoxville, TN; daughter Kathryn (Ken) Sias of Kodak, TN; daughter, Laurie Sullivan of Kodak, TN; daughter, Annie (Daryl) Bell of Kodak, TN; daughter, Bobbie Ring of Sevierville, TN; son, Marty (Robyn) Ring of Gatlinburg, TN; daughter, Kim Baker of Kodak, TN; son, Merlyn (Jean) Ring of AZ; thirty eight grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service for Catherine will be held Monday, June 27, 2011 at her daughter’s home in Kodak, TN.
