GREENE – Jean Carle Bogart, 89, of Greene, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2011.
She is predeceased by her husband, Wesley E. Bogart, Sr.; her daughter, Margaret Rogers and her son, Timothy Bogart.
She is survived by her children: Jacquelene Frayer, Michelle Thompson, Danielle Coney, Maria Davis, Jonathan J. Bogart, Wesley E. Bogart, Jr., and Christopher Bogart.
Jean volunteered and served proudly in the Women’s Army Corps during World War II in England and France where she met and married her husband. Currently Jean’s daughter and several grandchildren are honorably serving in the U.S. military. She was a devoted wife and mother and will be dearly missed.
A Funeral  Mass will be offered at 11 a.m. Friday at Immaculate Conception Church in Greene. Burial with military honors will be in Calvary Cemetery. There will be no calling hours.
