SHERBURNE – Norman A. Jenne, 63, of State Route 12, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2011 at St. Luke’s Home, New Hartford.
He was born Oct. 19, 1948 in Oneida. Norm was a graduate of Sherburne High School and SUNY Upstate Medical University as a respiratory therapist. He worked at Faxton-St. Luke’s Healthcare in New Hartford for over 30 years until his retirement. Following that, he operated the Fox Run Event Center in Sherburne for several years. He enjoyed bowling and pitching horseshoes.
Surviving are his mother, Ruth Jenne of Sherburne; a sister, Katherine Philbrick of Texas; brothers and sisters-in-law, Tim and Darlene Jenne of Florida; Steven Jenne of Sherburne; Andrew and Nancy Jenne of Arizona and Neil Jenne of Sherburne; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his father, Gordon V. Jenne on Aug. 7, 1999, and two sisters-in-law, Karin Jenne on July 27, 2011 and Betty Jenne on Oct. 13, 2011.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday from the Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 10 S. Main St., Sherburne, followed by interment in the Earlville Cemetery.
Friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Sunday from 7-9 p.m.
