SMYRNA – Mable T. (Tobey) Dilworth of Warren, RI who recently celebrated her 98th birthday passed away on Sunday, Nov. 6, 2011, surrounded by her family.
Born in Smyrna, she was the daughter of late Edmund and Lucy (Conley) Tobey.
Mable had worked for many years for the Victory Markets, Norwich Pharmaceutical, and retired after 19 years with The National Bank & Trust Company of Norwich. She was also a member of the Broad Street Methodist Church in Norwich.
Mable was the mother of Dawn D. Brodrick and her husband William of Bristol, RI and Edmund P. Dilworth and his life partner Patricia Vallary of Mt. Sinai; grandmother of Thomas R. Dilworth and his wife Tamara of South Salem, Denise Dilworth-Jones of Middlebury, CT and Edward Brodrick and his wife Diane of Bristol, RI; great grandmother to Hunter and Garrett Jones & Haley Denney and aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Mable was also the sister to the late John S., Raymond J. and Marian Tobey, Ruth E. Doing, Harriet Spicer and Maude Rice.
Manorial services to be held at a later date with burial to take place at Sherburne Hill Cemetery, Sherburne.
