OXFORD – Zada Varnell White, after a long and wonderful life, went home to be with the Lord on Nov. 27, 2011 at the age of 98.
Born in Anderson, South Carolina she moved to McDonough, then to Oxford, where she lived for 80 years. Predeceased by her husband Eugene, she is survived by her children Junietta Brooks, Dyann George (Charlie), Edward (Lucy); her grandchildren Travis (Tamara), Tracee, Christopher, Nicholas (Dana), Christina (Ben), Kimberly (Alfie), Susan; and her great grandchildren Tiffany, Ashley, Ashanee, Vanessa, Travion, Anjanae, Fanteysia, Jametri, Kamrin, Madeline, Colton.
