NORWICH – Frank Famolaro, 79, of Surfside Beach, S.C., formerly of Norwich and South New Berlin, passed away early Friday, Dec. 2, 2011. 
Frank was born on March 18, 1932 in Norwich, the son of Tom and Mary (Mollica) Famolaro. Frank was employed by Simmons Precision for 38 years.
He is survived by his wife Marilyn, step sons Michael (Veronica) Frech, and James (Donna) Frech of Myrtle Beach, SC and step daughter Donna Greenberg of Norwich. He is also survived by his brother Bart (Marianne) Famolaro of Norwich, and his sisters Julia (Bill) Taylor of Winslow, ME, Mary Rita (Jim) Dundon, Antoinette (Jim) Dennis, and Joan (George) Whiting, all of Norwich, many nieces and nephews, along with 9 grandchildren, Charlene (Shannon) Smith, Kathleen (Jason) Cragle, Kristen (Marty) Miller, Susan Frech, Steven Frech, Samantha Frech, Melanie (Jason) Mosley-McCall, Nick (Tonya) Mosley, and Brooke Mosley and 7 great-grandchildren, Katelin Smith, Sarah Smith, Emily Smith, LaSean Grant, Marcus Grant, Madalyn Miller and Skyler McCall.
Frank will always be remembered for the wonderful person he was who completed our family.
Funeral services were held in Surfside Beach, S.C. on Dec. 6.  A memorial service will be held in the spring in Norwich.
