OXFORD – Larry L. Makin, 61, of Oxford passed away unexpectedly on Dec. 26, 2011 at his home.
He was born on May 12, 1950 in Leavenworth, Kansas a son of the late John and Anna (Blair) Makin.
He is survived by his wife, Linda (Chafatelli) Makin of Oxford; his son and daughter in law, Jeffree and Jamie Makin of Cincinnatus; his brother and sister in law, Albert and Brenda Makin; his close family, Billy and Sue Titus; his grandchildren, Danny Makin, Michael Terkowski, Heather Makin, Nicole Terkowski, Kristen Terkowski, Jason Terkowski, Cody Terkowski, and Rose Marie Terkowski. He was predeceased by his daughter, Dawn Terkowski, his son, Jason Makin and his brother, Paul Makin.
Larry was a carpenter for Northeast United in Vestal. He enjoyed his family and loved to fish and hunt.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Riverview Cemetery, Oxford.
