Marie Mussision


EARLVILLE – Marie Camenga Mussision, 80, of Campbell Rd., passed away Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2012 at the Crouse Community Center in Morrisville.
She was born Oct. 26, 1931 in the Town of Brookfield, a daughter of Harold and Jean Jennings Camenga, and received her education in Brookfield and New Berlin schools. On Oct. 30, 1948, Marie was married to Charles J. Mussision in Columbus. He predeceased her on July 21, 2000. Marie worked for the U.S. Postal Service in Lebanon and Georgetown as the substitute Post Mistress until her retirement. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother whose greatest joy was caring for her family.
Surviving are her children, Brenda and Don Stillman of Edmeston; Susan and Charles Sloan of Syracuse; Mitchell Mussision of Eaton; Myrna and Jack Yanovick of Florida; brothers and sisters-in-law, Carl and Loretta Camenga of North Norwich and Florida; Vern and Holly Camenga of Lowville; nine grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren; her in-laws, Rose Knasick, Eva Campbell, both of Lebanon; Ann Dale of Sherburne; and Muriel Musician of Earlville; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter, Sandra Wentworth, and a daughter-in-law, LuAnn Mussision.
Graveside services will be held at a later date in the Valley View Cemetery, South Otselic.
There will be no calling hours.
