NEW BERLIN – Harriet Elizabeth (Hill) Warren, 92, of New Berlin, passed away on Feb. 8, 2012 at her home.
Harriet was born on Aug. 3, 1919 in the Town of Columbus, the daughter of Addison & Harriet Hill. Her childhood was spent in the New Berlin and Columbus areas where she was a graduate from the local school.
On June 29, 1939 she married James E. Warren in New Berlin. He predeceased her on March 12, 1984.
Harriet worked on the family farm and was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses, Norwich.
She is survived by her children; Ralph & Helen Davis of Ithaca, Edward & Peggy Warren of New Berlin, Peter & Linda Warren of New Berlin, Ron & Mary Fink of New Berlin as well as 13 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, 16 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by one grandson, Billy Warren; two sisters; Marcia M. Coughlin and Dorothy Post; and one brother, Donald Hill.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Dakin Funeral Home LP, New Berlin with Duane Golden of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses officiating. Calling hours will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. prior to the funeral service.
The interment will be held in Scribners Cemetery, New Berlin.
