NAPPANEE – Mark K.Dale, 54, of 24283 US 6, Nappanee, passed away unexpectedly Jan. 31, 2012.
He was born April 29, 1957 in Georgetown to Richard and Patricia Adsit Dale. He married Cheryl A. Olsen March 10, 1979 in South Bend, Ind.
Mark graduated Class of ‘75 from Otselic Valley High School. He received training and an associates degree in Drafting from the State University of New York in Delhi in 1976. He moved from New York to Elkhart, Ind. in 1978 where he worked for Holiday Rambler as an Electrical Engineer. After this, he began his own business, Solid Mark Inc.
Mark is survived by his wife, Cheryl; sons, Justin (Mary) Dale, Nappanee and Nathan (Sareen) Dale, South Bend; a grandson, Brayden Dale; his parents Richard and Patricia Dale, Sherburne; brothers, Dwight (Grace) Dale, Morrisville and Michael Dale, Sherburne, along with a sister, Lori (Greg) Levengood, Tully. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
A funeral was held in Nappanee at T.L. and Yoder Funeral Home on Feb. 4. Pastor Justin Lamason from the Nappanee Missionary Church officiated and burial took place in Union Center Cemetary.
