Dianne Tasior
WESTMORELAND – Dianne M. Tasior, 63, of Westmoreland passed away Monday, Feb. 13, 2012 after courageous battle with cancer, with her loving family by her side.
She was born March 4, 1948 in Watertown, the daughter of the late Clinton Wheeler and Val Tudi. On Aug. 17, 1991, she was joined in marriage with Lou Tasior, in Whitesboro.
Dianne was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who loved spending time with Lou, her daughters and grandchildren. She was happiest near the water. Her favorite times were spent during weekends away with the girls in Lake George, vacations at the ocean and happy hours at the Gulf in Florida. She enjoyed shopping, shopping and more shopping.
Surviving besides her beloved husband, Lou, are five daughters and sons-in-law, Julie Waffle and her partner, Sharon Kupiec, New Hartford, Sherry Martin and her partner, Tim O’Connor, Oneonta, Tammy and Brad Carpenter, New Berlin, Jacqueline and Roger Tripp, Schenevus, Michele and Matt Lindow, West Sand Lake, grandchildren, Thomas and Alyx Martin, Megan and Holly Carpenter, Derrick and Taylor Tripp, Elizabeth and Chelsea Lindow, and canine grandson, “Winston”; step father, Ned Tudi, Canastota; siblings, John and Karen Wheeler, Keuka Park, Randall and Audrey Wheeler, Whitesboro, Scott Whitehead, Syracuse, Jeffrey and Holly Whitehead, VT; in-laws, Ron and Gail Tasior, Edmeston, Pat Tasior, New Berlin, Paul and Michelle Tasior, Edmeston, Jim and Donna Tasior, New Hartford and Ken Tasior, TX; nieces and nephews, Brandon, Jillian and Shawn Wheeler, Connor and Cameron Whitehead, Terry Tasior, Angela Basso, Justin, Lindsay, Olivia and Jacqueline Tasior. She also leaves her neighbor and close friend, Jean Bogacz , as well as many close friends in Dunedin, Florida.
In keeping with Dianne’s wishes, cremation will take place. Her family will receive guests on Friday from 4-7 p.m. at Nunn & McGrath Funeral Directors, 470 French Rd., Utica. Funeral services, with the Reverend Heather Benson, will commence at 7 p.m.
