EARLVILLE – Paul A. McNulty, 94, of West Main St., passed away Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at his home.
He was born June 9, 1917 in Loretto, PA, one of nine children of Chrysostom “Oscar” and Alice Behe McNulty and received his education in Sherburne schools. Paul married Mabel Marie Tucker, who died in December 1966. He later married Joan Marie (Reiman) Close, who predeceased him on Oct. 12, 1996. Paul was a dairy farmer, and then worked in the building and grounds department at Sherburne-Earlville Central School until his retirement. Paul was a communicant of St. Malachy’s Church in Sherburne.
Surviving are his children, Russell and Patricia McNulty of Johnson City; Shannon McNulty of Sherburne; and Joseph McNulty of Earlville; grandchildren, Joseph McNulty of Winter Springs, FL; Brian and Aimi McNulty, with the armed forces stationed in Japan; and Erinn McNulty of Johnson City, and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday from the Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 10 S. Main St., Sherburne, followed by interment in St. Malachy’s Cemetery, Sherburne.
Friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Friday from 6-8 p.m. and the Rosary will be recited at 5:45 p.m.
