OXFORD – Donna Shore Scudder, of Oxford, passed away on May 24, 2012 at Wilson Memorial Hospital, Johnson City.
She was born on June 24, 1933 in Pompey, a daughter of the late Ivan and Harriet (Brenner) Craw.
She is survived by her children, Mary and Robert Chidester of Port Crane, Cinda and Bruce Hardy of Wolcott, Joy and Tim Lawrence of New Berlin, LaDonna Shore of Oxford, Heather and David Burton of Hamilton, Simon Shore and Kim Phillips of McDonough, Gary Scudder of Oxford, and Roy Scudder of Binghamton; her grandchildren, Randi Lawrence, Alexandria Shore, Kasaundra Shore, Michael Potter, Simon Shore, John Vest, Keith Vest, Michael Shore and Rose Bush; and her sister, Ruth Gates of Mexico, NY. She was predeceased by her husband, Gerald “Tom” Scudder, her son, Armond Shore, her daughter, Harriet Shore, her brothers, John Craw and Ivan Craw, her sister, Ethel Brown and her granddaughter Sandra Brown Custer.
Donna was a member of Fort Hill Post #376, American Legion, and enjoyed playing cards at the Gene Sullivan Pitch League. She loved doing puzzles, and reading books. She also liked gardening and doing ceramics. In earlier years she loved to bowl.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday at the Behe Funeral Home, 21 Main St., Oxford with the Rev. Allen Lang officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Fabius.
