McDONOUGH – Dorothy Wagner Baltich, 92, of McDonough, formerly of Campbell Hall, passed away on June 16, 2012 at Chenango Memorial Hospital with her daughters by her side.
She was born on March 7, 1920 in Staten Island, a daughter of the late William H. and Ellen E. (Wilton) Hendrickson.
She is survived by her children; Kathleen Sanders and Homer Sabines of McDonough, Lora Wagner of Middletown, Teresa and Howard Burke of Morehead City, N.C. and William and Jodi Wagner of Newfoundland, Pa.; her sister, Gloria Jones of Richmond, Va. and her former husband, William Wagner. Seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren also survive. She was predeceased by her brothers, William Hendrickson and James Hendrickson.
Dorothy loved her profession as a nurse and enjoyed many years working at Arden Hill Hospital and also private duty nursing. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She was an avid reader and enjoyed her daily walks.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
