SOUTH NEW BERLIN – Marie A. Piatti, 85, of Ossipee, N.H., died Sept. 9, 2012, at Huggins Hospital, Wolfeboro, N.H., surrounded by family.
She was born July 31, 1927, in North Bergen, N.J., the daughter of late Mildred and Anthony Novak. In 1947, she married Albert Piatti, who preceded her in death.
She was a long-time resident of South New Berlin, and was Past Grand Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was employed at Bendix Corporation, Sidney, as a machinist for 27 years, retiring in 1992.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Marilyn Piatti of Hobe Sound, Fla.; son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Joyce Piatti of Berlin, Md.; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Audrey Piatti of Leonardo, N.J.; and devoted daughter Lora Piatti of Alton Bay, N.H.; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
