DONNA INGRAHAM
GREENE – Donna L. Ingraham, 65, of Greene passed away on Sept. 25, 2012 at her home with her family by her side.
She was born on April 18, 1947 in Greene, a daughter of Roland “Don” and Marjorie (Harrington) Alger. On Sept. 16, 1967 she married Thomas Ingraham, who survives.
Besides her husband, Tom of Greene she is survived by her children Wendy Tefft (Rob) and daughter, Lindsey, and Michael Ingraham ( fiancé Cindy Geertgens) and daughter, Jaidyn; her brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Suzanne Alger; her sisters and brother-in-law, Phyllis (Mike Paraninfo), and Judy and William Ingraham; her nieces and nephews, Michelle Bassett, Robert Alger, Jr., Ava Marie Ingraham, William Ingraham, Jr., Steven Ingraham, Randy Christian, Kelly Landon and Dawn Skillen and their families. She was predeceased by her baby daughter, Renee.
After graduating from Greene Central School, Donna worked for several years at the Raymond Corporation. She then began a career with the Greene Central School district, from where she retired after over 25 years of service in the media center and the guidance office. She was a member of Central Baptist Church in Greene. She loved traveling, especially going south to visit her daughter and granddaughter. She also loved gardening and viewing lighthouses.
Private funeral services will be held at the Kennedy Funeral Home, 21 N. Chenango St., Greene on Monday, Oct. 1. Burial will be in Sylvan Lawn Cemetery, Greene.
Friends may call at the Kennedy Funeral Home on Sunday from 6-8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Lourdes Hospice.
