GUILFORD – Marvin H. Eisenberg, 85, of Guilford, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Nov. 18, 2012 at his home.
Born in Albany on Aug. 1, 1927, Marvin was the son of Julius and Julienne (Weinstein) Eisenberg. His family moved several times before settling in Queens, where Marvin graduated from Forest Hills High School. He operated his own farm on the Bainbridge-Guilford Road for several years before working as a tool maker at Sidney-Bainbridge Welding. He was very proud of his apprenticeship there.

Marvin is survived by several close friends and neighbors, who he loved, including Linda Giordano and her family, also of Guilford. He will be remembered as a good neighbor, willing to do anything for anybody.
A graveside service for Marvin will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Mount Hope Cemetery in Norwich. There will be no calling hours.
Contributions in memory of Marvin may be made to the Jewish Center of Norwich, 72 S. Broad St., Norwich, NY 13815, the Chenango County SPCA, 6160 Co. Rd. 32 in Norwich or Hospice of Chenango County, 21 Hayes St., also in Norwich.
