GILBERTSVILLE – Georgianna E. Halbert, 91, passed away on Monday, Dec. 24, 2012, at Chase Nursing Home in New Berlin.
She was born in Walton, the daughter of Alfred A. Currie and Anna M. (Butler) Currie.
Calling hours will be held at the Johnston Funeral Home of Morris on Friday from 3 to 6 p.m., with a Grange service at 5:30 p.m. On Saturday, at the First Presbyterian Church in Gilbertsville, a calling hour will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. A funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. with Rev. Mark Piedmonte officiating and a committal service will be held at Brookside Cemetery in Gilbertsville immediately following the funeral.
