SHERBURNE – Ruth W. Ulrich, 94, of Knapp Rd., formerly of New Berlin, PA, passed away Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013 at the Crouse Community Center, Morrisville.
She was born Aug. 8, 1918 in Snyder County, PA, a daughter of Simon Franklin and Annie S. Brouse Ulrich and received her education in local schools. Moving to this area in 1966, she had worked for the Earlville Paper Box Company until her retirement. Previously, she had done factory work in Pennsylvania. Ruth was a loving mother and grandmother who doted on her grandchildren and great grandchildren and will be dearly missed. Among her favorite past times, she enjoyed doing puzzles. She was a member of the Christian Baptist Church in Sherburne.
Ruth is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Carol Ulrich of Sherburne; grandchildren, Kenneth and Tammy Ulrich of Port Deposit, MD; Mark and Patricia Ulrich of Fairfield Glad, TN; Susan and Alan Sanders of Cartersville, GA; Michael and Sabrina Ulrich of Sherburne; her beloved great-grandchildren, Ethan, Caleb, Noah, Alexandra, Sophia, Jonathon, Sierra and Kenneth (Joshua); and ste-great-grandchildren, Jeanette, Alicia, Michael, Ashton and Elena. She was predeceased by a grandson, Jonathan Ulrich in 1977; sisters, Mary Ulrich and Agnes Snook; a brother, Guy Ulrich; and a step-great-grandchild, Traci Lynn.
Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday from the Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 10 S. Main St., Sherburne.
Friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5-7 p.m. prior to the service.
Interment will be in the New Berlin Cemetery, New Berlin, PA.
