NORWICH – Doris E. Vasile, 94, passed away at her residence in Norwich, NY on Thursday, March 14, 2013. Born June 28, 1918, in Framingham, Ma., Doris was the daughter of LaBurton and Ethel (Grant) Stevens. On July 17, 1946, Doris married Eugene R. Vasile, who predeceased her in 2006. Doris is survived by her daughter, LaBerta Finck of Norwich, and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. There will be no funeral services or calling hours. Burial will take place at a later date near her place of birth in Framingham. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Wilson Funeral Home, Norwich.
