Emma P. Kuhn, 91, of Norwich, passed away Saturday evening, March 16, 2013 in the Norwich Rehab and Nursing Center.
Emma was born in Chamblee, Ga., on Jan. 14, 1922 the daughter of John Henry and Margaret Nelson Pounds. She grew up in Morris and was a 1940 graduate of the Morris Central School. Emma spent many of her adult years in the South New Berlin area and was a supporting member of the First Baptist Church of South New Berlin.
Emma is survived by her son, John Sperry, of Norwich, her daughter, Kristie Brown, of Palm Springs, Ca., along with many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Emma was predecceased by her sisters Frances Vanschouwen and Patricia Mowery, her brothers Jim and Joe Pounds, and a half-brother, Robert Peer.
At Emma’s request there will be no formal services. Arrangements are with the R.J.Fahy Funeral Home.
