MT. UPTON – Maykensie Elizabeth Dutcher, seven month old daughter of Ira and Catelin Dutcher of Mt. Upton, went to be with the angels early Monday morning, April 1, 2013 at her home.
Maykensie was born on Aug. 31, 2012 in Norwich the daughter of Ira and Catelin Sickler Dutcher. Even though she was with us for only a short time, she won our hearts forever.
Maykensie is survived by her parents Ira and Catelin Dutcher of Mt. Upton, her brother Blake Dutcher of Mt. Upton, her paternal grandparents Beulah Parker of Norwich and Nigel Dutcher of Arkansas, her maternal adoptive grandparents Daniel and Betsy Sickler of Oneonta and her maternal grandfather, Ricky Mesec of Idaho. Also surviving are three special people who have been with them every step of the way, Joan Leech of Mt. Upton, Bill Leech of South New Berlin and Barb Leech, also of South New Berlin. Also surviving are many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Maykensie was predeceased by her maternal grandmother Lorna Belcher.
Funeral services for Maykensie will be held at noon Friday from the R.J.Fahy Funeral Home. Pastor Romeyn Kipp, Pastor of the Holmesville Baptist Church, will officiate. Interment will be at a later date in the Mt. Hope Cemetery.
Friends may call at the R.J.Fahy Funeral Home from 11 a.m. to noon Friday.
