NORWICH – Frederick R. Creighton, 61, of Valley View Park passed away Friday, April 5, 2013 at Wilson Regional Medical Center, Johnson City, NY.
He was born December 2, 1951 in New Berlin, a son of Joseph and Ellen Hollister Creighton and attended New Berlin schools. Fred was a truck driver most of his life and had also worked at CWS in Norwich.
Surviving are his loving companion, Donna E. Parker of Norwich; children, Amanda Creighton and Joseph Creighton, both of FL; sister and brother-in-law, Alice and Nigel Reynolds of Sherburne; sister-in-law, Margaret Creighton of Sherburne; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his extended family, Tammy and Matthew Dilfer of Oxford; Amy and Robert Thurlow of Earlville; Terry Parker Jr., Bryan Parker and Crystal Sabines, all of Norwich. He was predeceased by a brother, Henry.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday from the Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 10 S. Main St., Sherburne, with burial in West Hill Cemetery.
Friends are invited to call at the funeral home from noon to 2 p.m. on Wednesday prior to the service.
