GEORGETOWN – Larry B. Carr, 58, of Utica, formerly of Georgetown, passed away Saturday, April 20, 2013 at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center, Utica.
He was born July 27, 1954 in Oneida, a son of Russell and Myrtle Alumbaugh Carr, and was a graduate of Otselic Valley Central School. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and was a fan of NASCAR.
Surviving are his sisters, Sharon (Verne) Hobbs of Chapel Hill, NC; Shirley Carr of Virginia Beach, VA; Sandra Carr of Georgetown; Pam Carr and her companion David Andrews of Georgetown; a brother, Ronald Carr of Mottsville, NC; sister-in-law, Gloria Carr of Sherburne; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by a brother, Wayne Leroy Carr, and a sister, Sarah Carr.
Memorial services will be held at 7 p.m. Friday from the Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 10 S. Main St., Sherburne.
Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
There will be no calling hours.
