SHERBURNE – Francis A. “Frank” Campaignio, 66, of Edgewater, NJ, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 14, 2013, while visiting at the home of his brother Anthony in Sherburne.
He was born on September 20, 1946 in Jersey City, NJ a son of the late Dominick and Ethel Parente Campaignio. He received his education in Edgewater and Lodi, NJ schools. Frank worked as a casino card dealer at the Four Queens Casino, LasVegas, NV until his retirement. He was of the Catholic faith. He loved fishing, hunting, and shooting archery with his brother Albert. He especially enjoyed living a healthy lifestyle by exercising at home.
Surviving are his daughter and son in law, Misty and Michael Cox of LasVegas, NV; two brothers and a sister in law, Albert and Isabel Campaignio of Colonia, NJ, and Anthony Campaignio of Sherburne; three grandsons, Jacob, Ryan and Mason; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by a brother Dominick Campaignio Jr. and a sister and brother in law ,Yvonne and Dennis Murphy.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on July 18 from St. Malachy’s Church, E. State St., Sherburne, where a mass of Christian burial will be celebrated. Frank will be buried at St. Malachy’s Parish Cemetery, next to his family who settled in Sherburne. Friends are invited and my call from 4 to 7 p.m. on July 17, 2013 at the Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 10 S. Main St., Sherburne.
